Photographer Maarten van Schaik plays with colors, shapes and reflections to create the perfect atmosphere for his new series entitled “Car Nudes”.
“Inside the complexity of the city, Maarten van Schaik looks for ‘black holes’ or ‘non-places’, where color, light, materials, lines and strange objects play together inside the frame of his camera. As he describes himself: ‘things and places that remain unnoticed in our hectic, everyday lives’. Car Nudes is a project that embodies the ‘non-places’ van Schaik sees.”
