The Mendelssohn Effektorium is another incredible audiovisual installation by WHITEvoid (previously).

“The Mendelssohn Effektorium is a technically complex, but user-friendly and exceedingly fun installation in the Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Museum in Leipzig. The museum visitor finds himself in the role of a conductor. By swinging the conductor′s baton the visitor decides upon the tempo of a musical piece. One can also exclude instruments from the orchestra or change instrumentation and tonality to enjoy a very personalized version of Mendelssohn-Bartholdys work.”
