The Cloud Project by Eduardo Coimbra

“Projeto Nuvem” (The Cloud Project) is an installation created by Brazilian artist Eduardo Coimbra, featuring a series of sculptures aligned to represent a trail of clouds.

“The artist, with a background in engineering and architecture, comments that his work is inspired by the theme and concept of space, as he blends indoor and outdoor spaces and brings the sky down to a much lower elevation. The installations feature five square light boxes in succession, bordered by mirrors and projecting images of a cloud in the sky through a translucent canvas and fluorescent lights.”
